Marilyn Pomer, the founder of Greenescape Designs, is a graduate of landscape architecture from the University of Guelph. She thinks of a garden as a 'Green Room' and a living extension of the interior space. Marilyn's first inspiration to become a garden designer occurred on a grade nine class trip to the Gardens of Versailles in France. Today, she continues her mission to design unique urban gardens in Toronto with curb appeal and seasonal interest.

Marilyn enjoys writing her column in the North York Mirror entitled 'Green with Envy.' Her articles appear bi-weekly from spring to fall. Marilyn is an associate member of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (O.A.L.A.) and a horticultural member of Landscape Ontario. She is also an active member and volunteer of the Toronto Botanical Garden (formerly the Civic Garden Centre).
